My name is ashley stevens and i am 23 years old. when i was younger i kept noticing bumps on my chest area. after countless doctors visits i finally had my first surgery on my chest. still not having a correct diagnosis. and that’s where it all started. i would get bumps and cysts under my arms, my tailbone, groin. it took me 7 years to get a correct diagnosis of hidradenitis suppurativa. to date i have had 15 surgeries. my wish is for one day some light is shed to this disease. it takes a toll on us mentally and physically. do not be ashamed, speak up!!!
