This is simply a resource to help individuals with HS to find resources to fund their higher education pursuits.**

A Nurse I Am Scholarship by Cherokee Uniforms

Description: 

  • Applicant must be a student who is currently enrolled in an accredited LVN/LPN, RN degree (ADN or BSN), diploma, or RN-to-BSN program.  Individuals who have been accepted to a nursing program but have not yet started their coursework as January 31, 2021 will not eligible to apply for the 2021 A Nurse I Am Scholarship program. (e.g., If an individual anticipates beginning their coursework in Fall 2021 they will not be eligible for the 2021 A Nurse I Am Scholarship program.)
     

  • Applicant must be currently attending (as of January 20, 2021) classes that are related to their nursing major (e.g., If an individual's current schedule is comprised of only general education or otherwise non-nursing related courses, applicant is not eligible for the 2021 A Nurse I Am Scholarship program.)
     

  • Enrollment may be full-time or part-time.
     

  • Applicant's educational program must be located within the 50 U.S. states.

This is Me Foundation National Scholarship 

Description: Up to (4) $500.00 ‘This Is Me Scholarship, Inspired by Ryan Risco & Caitlin Chivonne Polhill’ awards are available to high school seniors (graduating spring 2021) in the United States who have/had alopecia and are pursuing advanced level education.

Deadline: Application must be submitted by March 31, 2021

Bella Soul Scholarships 

Anderson and Stowell Scholarship 

Description: Requirements for Scholarship: must be a college student living with a physical ailment, physical disease, and/or physical disability. Must be enrolled as full/part time student, and must not be on academic probation.—email proof of enrollment to Bella Soul (does not need to be a transcript; scholarship is not based on GPA but will be taken into account)

This scholarship is $450!

Drake Davis Foundation Scholarship 

Description: The Drake Davis Scholarship is awarded in memory of Drake Davis.  Drake committed suicide in 2006 and the Drake Davis Foundation, Inc. was formed to create an opportunity to raise awareness and prevention of suicide.  Our theme is Speak up - Reach out®.  Each year the Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who exemplify outstanding qualities in leadership, character and community service. The recipients will be selected by the Board of Directors and/or selection committee of the Drake Davis Foundation, Inc.

JED’s Student Voice of Mental Health Award

Description: JED’s Student Voice of Mental Health Award is an annual award honoring an undergraduate college student who is doing outstanding work  to raise awareness for mental health issues, reduce prejudice around mental illness, and encourage help-seeking among their peers. Undergraduate college student selected for this award receives:  $3,000 cash scholarship, recognition on JED’s website and social channel, ongoing opportunities to represent and work with JED
